5 Important Rules in Website Design

When it comes to your website, extra attention should be paid to every minute detail to make sure it performs optimally to serve its purpose. Here are seven important rules of thumb to observe to make sure your website performs well.

1) Do not use splash pages

Splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image with words like “welcome” or “click here to enter”. In fact, they are just that — pretty vases with no real purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the “back” button! Give them the value of your site up front without the splash page.

I finally found a Free Email Autoresponder Service with no catch, no upgrade options and no free trial. This auto responder service has all the bells and whistles including; follow up messages, broadcast messages and verification email messages which is important for prospects to verify their subscriptions.

I have been searching for a free unlimited autoresponder for a while now, simply because I wasn’t willing to pay for an auto responder program. However, when you have a growing email list a lousy email marketing program is just no longer an option. I have found free autoresponder scripts, one that I was using for a while and was not always happy with due to lack of features.

Hey Everyone,

Below is an experience that has caused my search for the best web hosting company to end.

For those of you who know me, you’re aware that I don’t do this sort of thing often. However, I had a recent experience with my current web hosting company that I couldn’t keep to myself.

About a week ago today I was having some technical issues with a couple sites on my VPS and being that I am a more of a web designer than a programmer, my technical skills are mediocre at best.

Parenting is a touchy subject for most. In fact, say the wrong thing about someone’s parenting skills and there could be a heated dispute the second the words roll off your tongue. Being a good parent is different for everyone. After all every child is unique and requires a different approach. My question today though,is are we really being the best parents we can be?

I am not a perfect parent by any means. However, this is an issue that I am passionate about and therefore have to speak my mind. The day I became a dad for the first time, things changed forever. Friendships disappeared, views changed and emotions I’ve never felt before are suddenly as serious as a heart attack. On the other hand I have noticed so many parents treating their children as commodities or sometimes worse, FRIENDS!

Honestly, if it were so easy to fork over a few bucks, to make thousands, we would all be envelope stuffing millionaires. Maybe thousandaires would be more accurate? First off, where did you find this work from home offer? Worst of all, did it find you? If you received unsolicited email, letter or found a number that doesn’t reach a real person then I would do some research first. If you saw an ad in a newspaper, a job magazine or on a job website, then it’s more likely to be legitimate but guaranteed. Remember, these companies are in the business of advertising, not verifying legitimate businesses.
